This page explains what data we collect through the romevaticanapartment.com website, why we collect it and how we handle it.
Who handles your data
The data controller is Lucilla Focheschi, Viale Vaticano 45, 00165 Roma. The day-to-day management of the apartment and communications with guests are handled by Ivan De Propris. For any request: info@romevaticanapartment.com
What data we collect
Only what you send us. If you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the dates you are interested in, the number of guests and the text of your message.
If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we process the data contained in your message.
The website does not use profiling cookies, does not collect visitor statistics and does not carry advertising. The only cookies present are the technical ones necessary for the pages to function.
Why we use it
To answer your questions and prepare a quote. Nothing else: we do not send newsletters and we do not share your data with anyone for commercial purposes.
The legal basis is your consent when you write to us, and the performance of the pre-contractual measures you request.
Where it goes
The contact form does not save anything on the website: the data is sent by email to our inbox and stays there.
The website is hosted by Aruba S.p.A., which also provides the email service. Aruba processes the data as a processor, on our behalf, on servers located in Italy.
If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp, the conversation is also subject to WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.’s privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as necessary to reply to you and manage your potential stay. Messages that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months.
Data relating to an actual stay is kept for the period required by tax obligations and regulations on the registration of guests.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it or restrict its use, and you can object to its processing. Simply write to info@romevaticanapartment.com: we will reply within thirty days.
If you believe your data is not being handled correctly, you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
If we make any changes to this page, we will update the date below.
